This is for 5th - 9th graders who are looking to take their game to the next level. Our goal is to master the fundamentals. Every Session we will focus on these skills: o Ball Handling o Passing o Footwork o Shooting o Setting and reading screens o Attack Moves (Iso’s) o Rebounding o Defense o Cutting o Post Play o Transition Its important not to just do skills or drill but to learn WHY and HOW to do them in games. Our sessions will also include 1 on 1, 3 on 3, and 5 on 5 breakdowns. The Four laws of learning are explanation, demonstration, imitation, and repetition. The goal is to create a correct habit that can produced instinctively under great pressure. Every Session we will focus on these skills: o Ball Handling o Passing o Footwork o Shooting o Setting and reading screens o Attack Moves (Iso’s) o Rebounding o Defense o Cutting o Post Play o Transition Its important not to just do skills or drill but to learn WHY and HOW to do them in games. Our sessions will also include 1 on 1, 3 on 3, and 5 on 5 breakdowns. The advanced group will also do some of the same skills testing Matt uses at the NBA and WNBA Overseas Combines. The Four laws of learning are explanation, demonstration, imitation, and repetition. The goal is to create a correct habit that can produced instinctively under great pressure.
